My name is Corien, I am a nonbinary designer with a penchant for out of the box ideas with critical consideration for real world application.
I hail from Minnetonka, MN, where I grew up in a rigorous curriculum, from kindergarten all the way through 12th grade, among students from all different economic classes.
Representation is very important to me. I make a point to create safe spaces for people around me, and enjoy curating experiences that are easy to navigate.

I find design to be methodical exploration, it’s the designer’s job
to see options and opportunities that don’t appear as easily for the clients.
I believe in simple, quickly recognizable branding. I like to ask myself if the logo could be quickly drawn with a Crayola marker, and would it still be recognizable. If the answer is no, then I don’t consider my job done.
