Born from the NASA redesign challenge that did rounds around 2021, before NASA finally updated their website and app. It is the first project I fell in love with. Later, I lost many files, including this project, so I designed it again with only two screenshots as guidance of what I once made.
It filled me with just as much joy as it had the first time, and spun out to be my most extensive project.
NASA’s public-facing digital designs still leave much to be desired, but back in 2021, they still looked like things did in 2009. This project takes on not just their main website and app, but also many of their other sites that more than deserve an update. In addition, mission patches and xyzxyz are redesigned.
